Materials:
  • Any notebook or journal
  • Pen, pencil, crayons or markers
  • Glue or tape
  • Scissors (some adult supervision may be required)
  • Construction paper
  • Stickers
Instructions:
  • Create a journal of what you did all summer- trips, family outings, games you played, etc.
  • Draw pictures of these events- make it "come to life"
  • Make pictures out of construction paper or draw yourself
  • You can title your book "Summer of 2005"
  • Make it as plain or fancy as you want
 
Enjoy your journal with your friends, family and new teacher(s)-

Enjoy reading it while you are in school and remember the fun you had- even though you may miss your summer vacation, you can relive it again and again during the school year to put a smile on your face !
