During the days of summer, most children are not even thinking of going back to school, but some are. Some children enjoy school, seeing their friends, school activities, and the structure behind it all.
Keeping structure in our homes is just as important. Children need this to balance themselves- and all that keeps them busy now and in the school year.
Help your child organize themselves- be it baseball cards or Polly Pockets. Buy storage bins to hold items, let your child label them, decorate them, - be part of it. You will be teaching them structure in their lives to help them grow and develop, but have fun doing it.
Make a picture board for their rooms to hold pictures of their friends, family, pets, etc.
You can visit your local $1 store for storage bins, labels, stickers, etc.
Just to spend time with your child will be priceless and they will be learning something that they aren’t even aware of!
